Team 6!

Well, Got everything washed, sprayed down with permethrin, backpack loaded with stuff I probably wont need, sticks, saddle ready, shooting 3 inch groups at 25. got my Primary A spot and secondary B spot mapped out in case there are 300 trucks at Primary A, I just need to get my head on straight. Im already nervous with excitement. Im sure I will repack my backpack 10 times in the next 36 hours. I wont sleep well until Im in the tree after a few hours. lol
Anybody else already like a kid at Christmas?

Got called into work this morning. So no hunt for me. But, tomorrow is another day! I'll keep at it and get out while I can!

Congrats on the harvest. I'm glad that your injury isn't keeping you out of the woods completely. I have been fighting back problems for months now, saw a surgeon today and most likely will be operated on in late December. Its not gonna keep me out of the woods up until then though!

Hope you heal quickly, Achilles injuries are no joke.

A little late getting in this morning. Didn't want to push anything out of my good spots. I setup between a 3 year old prescribed burn area and a pine thicket. Got setup and can see a scrape at 10 yards I didn't see from the ground. Hoping for anything brown this morning!

Ok, had a spike and a yearling doe come right underneath my tree downwind of me at 2 yards. Both spooked couldn't get my bow up fast enough as they were carrying in at a fast pace. Nothing afterwards. 3.5 hour sit, 2 deer sighted, first real public land sit in over 3 years, and it was a lot easier with a saddle then my old climber.
