Well, still up by 2!!

I'm pretty sure I'm past second rut here, according to the normal dates, but I appreciate all your advice guys! I'm not quite down and out yet but with 20 days of season left and the holidays in there I'm going to need a little luck. Guess I should have burned some vacation time, I was told I had 160 hours this morning. Maybe some day I'll use it but I wouldn't hold your breathe lol

Still got a fair bit of season left but I am down to weekends only now. Just gonna focus on green food sources the rest of the way most likely. Still have 2 either sex tags and a doe tag. Would like to use at least a couple of them.
 
I won't be able to get out until the 23rd probably but then I should be able to get 4 or 5 sits in within the 2 weeks after that. Hoping to at least knock some does down for us. Hopefully we still have some guys getting after it cause that 2 points isn't going to hold
 
Looks like I will be getting out this weekend after all, the water leak seems to have dried up and the wife is against losing the only bathroom in the house this weekend, this is the true deciding factor lol. wind is a bit sketchy for the best green field ambush spot, might be just off enough to be perfect
 
Well, turns out my family wants to have some venison for Christmas. Guess I'm that much more motivated to whack another one or two. Darn the bad luck lol. Actually that's a big surprise, I can't hardly get my immediate family to try venison usually, which is ok by this guy but I really don't mind sharing
 
Deal. Evil I can do! It's this hunting gig and getting those innocent tasty critters to cooperate I'm not real good at lol

I'll be hitting it hard tomorrow! Gotta take at least a few hours of Sunday though
