Team 9 Thread

Hunted again today. No dice though. I thought it might happen. Had a doe come bouncing into the field like she was being chased with her tail up. She stopped and looked back several times but nobody ever came from her direction.

Well, it was a great day to be out...plenty of action today in the bedding area....never had a deer smell me and they were close...I only saw one small forky which I passed at 35 yrds. Michigans muzzelloader season ends on Sunday...so it looks like I'll be hunting with the bow for the rest of the season....20201211_134933.jpg

I love this plateform compared to my predator...really have enjoyed it the last two sits. It cams over so tight to the tree making it so Rock Solid - no movement. I also use a ring of 4 steps with it. Im going to order 2 more of these if that tells you anything
 
I just got this feeling you're going to be sending us a pic of a monster soon!!! You said you're ordering a couple more of the mission platforms, are you doing presets with these? Just being nosey none of my business either way.

Yes, where I hunt i don't have to worry about getting it stolen even though I'm on public ground....just like to eliminate as much noise as possible when I get in my set. But my thinking for late season is set up for two sets and one mobile in hand to alter my location...ive passed on many bucks this season but missed a great buck last week with my gun...haven't felt good since that happened
 
Well, only saw 7 deer today, but one was a complete Giant Giant Giant....all my years of hunting never have i seen a typical 10 pt so big...he was a extremely slick symmetrical typical is all can say...got to watch him for about 10 minutes...well probably won't be able to go back out until nxtvweek
