I did find another cool relic. If you zoom in you can see all the different critters that ended up here. Maybe I need to quit looking down so much and I’d see more deer.

I kinda wish I looked down a bit more. I've spent a lot of time in the woods and have never found an Indian arrow head. Maybe someday.
 
Not a bad first hunt of season. Saw 3 bucks and 2 doe. A little out of range for all but I’ll be back in morning a little closer to transition they were moving along.
 
Has anyone killed a deer yet? I have gotten off to a slow start.

This happened to me last night. First time I have ever had my string break. Luckily no injuries and my main bow will be back this week. I have to borrow my kids crossbow bow for the evening.

Those two bucks are pretty big especially that 2nd one.

Hunted that new spot on the military base last night, saw one shooter at 60 yards. Should of sat closer to the 2 scraps I found cause he ended up coming in and working the far scrap. I thought I was closer to those scraps when set up too.

Kicked a deer off that top that I set up on. That buck came in maybe 5 min after I was setup so I'm not sure if that's the one a kicked up. Nice 8 pt not a giant but certainly big enough for me to shoot.

First time using the One sticks and I was pretty happy with them.
 
Well boys we are still pitching a shut out on the contest score board. Haha....not worried it's still early just sort of funny.

Did get a call from the bow shop and my bow is fixed so hopefully will be able to get it after work and get all dialed in for the weekend.

Going to try to get out Saturday with my daughter in the blind and back in the saddle Sunday. Forcast - RAIN all weekend. so we shall see
