Team 9 Thread

Got two cameras up yesterday. Put them over scrapes from last year but they weren’t opened yet.

I’m taking my father in law out to some public I haven’t hunted in a few years on Sunday.

Found two nice sheds out here in February, got a decent spot for him that won’t kill him getting there. - https://wvoutsider.com/west-virginia/bear-rock-lakes-wildlife-management-area/

Almost time to get to get started.

Well, the federal govt blocked saddle Hunter due to “Forums” lol!

I no longer have access at work. Stupid!

Went out all weekend. My buddy dropped a 9 Sunday.

Headed out this evening after work! Cameras have been going off for 2 days now. So we shall see!

Good thing you have a cell phone. ;)

I am not above shooting a dink buck especially if it puts us on the podium. However it’s a tad early for that.

I came home from work and my son decided it would be a great idea to spray paint an air soft rifle in our basement. I don’t begin to understand what goes through a 15 year old mind if anything at all. Now I’m washing my hunting clothes that smell like paint. Ugh.

It’s a short doe rifle season that ends today so I’m Bowhunting in orange and in the rain. I brought one of those tree umbrella deals but I use it so infrequently that when I pulled it out of its little sleeve the screw in piece fell to the ground. Lol. Not going back down to get it. I have on rain gear and thankfully it’s died down since that happened. I made my way into this hillside I above the lake that leads to a power line planted with brassica. 3 or 4 years ago there was a scrape about 60 yards or so from where I ended up today. Thick all around with some nice shooting lanes in front of me.

Raining harder this morning. @dfa you out in it today? Glad I didn’t drop my tree umbrella today. Im hanging in my preset millennium m150 (lol) but the seat of course is soaked so my tree hopper recon is keeping me fleet.

No not this morning, spent the last 2 days in the rain, it's supposed to stop around noon or 1 so headed out then. It has been dead here the last couple days even the cameras have slowed down. If should be great the next couple days with this cold front, 20 deg temp drop

this morning was a bust. No deer activity and no new activity in camera. I’m going to drop back and punt. Probably going to spot and stalk/scout some public this afternoon. The weather is the best it’s been all season so I’m going to go all in for the next few days.
