Team 9 Thread

Got a perfect wind for this particular spot, however the scrape that has been here since 2019 is not open this year. I’ve seen one buck so far but he was about 60-70 yards on the other side of some super thick brush. I don’t know exactly where he went and I never got a good look at him. Will be here til dark so let’s see what happens.

Sorry guys, I F’d up again. Shot a buck this morning with the x bow but couldn’t find it. I’m 95% sure it wasnt lethal but I can’t be for sure. I sick about it and I’m ready to put the archery equipment away for good.
 
The day started off exciting, saw four different bucks on my way in to set up. Almost got a stalk on one that crossed my path around 80 yards uphill. If he had stopped to check a scrape and spent more time I may have been able to get in range. I saw a spike and a smaller racked buck closer to where I planned to setup. I held up and watched from about 150 yards off. They moved off and eventually I got set up.
Once I got into the tree I saw nothing the rest of the day lol
 
Im in post rut depression.........still have Michigan opener on Wednesday and might have to dial a day to hit up gun opener in southern ohio
