Same here - I have over 300 hours on mine this year and have not had a single peep from mine. I have 2 more on order (Gen 2) so hopefully I will find the same result with them.

I too have the Gen 2....and really like it.

No, I have not tried anything yet, this is a new issue and I thought maybe someone on here may have some insight before trying anything, so I’ll give your recommendation a try and see what happens, thanks for the speedy reply,

Wax it. Its the quick fix and worked for me down to 20 degree temps, then made noise again. Maybe it needs recoated.
Some other guys have added nylon washers to theirs.

I had planned to add nylon washers as a first fix, but I’ll go with the wax first and see how it works out.

Can someone point me to the link related to the predator making a noise, mine has started making what could be best described as a metal on metal poping sound as I move around the platform, I’ve ckecked it over and I don’t think that it has a crack, I can’t pinpoint the location of the sound but it seems that it’s coming from multiple locations, any help would be great,

Well I don't think that link worked. Search permanent Predator noise fix. This is how I fix mine it's a bit more involved than bow string wax, but is another option.

Well, I did find what I think is the problem, there’s a crack in the horizontal portion of the bar that has the teeth, I’ve sent pictures to Ernie and am waiting on a reply.

My gen 2 has been solid and dead quiet all season. Only noise it makes is when I twist with my heels hanging off and my boot soles pop on the platform. Need to wrap with 550 cord one of these days.
