Tethrd Predator or Wild Edge Perch

I'm with @EricS on the WE. I hunted with modded heliums and a cayg aider last year. Got the WE stepps off the site in January and plan to use them exclusively this fall (unless the 1 stick testing keeps going so well). I bought a Predator (solid) in February and the Perch when it came out. Perch is still shaky at times just like everyone has mentioned here. As a sitter, I love my ring of 3 squirrel steps best of all right now, so stay tuned, there may be some WE stepps, heliums, Predator, and Perch in the classifieds later this summer or fall.

I finally tried ameristeps on a strap last December. The predator will have a home with me for a while but for 90 percent of my hunts a ring of steps is what I want. It’s not weight or size it’s just about comfort. I’ve got some aluminum steps to try also. I really like 5 steps.

Boyne and Jefferson10940 thanks for the help. I sent the link to myself so I can find it when I get the steps. Hopefully I'll have enough time before hunting to work on the placement and this variation on the attachment knot. I like the way you tied it in. All I need is the steps (on order 5 or 6 weeks now) and practice.

Cary as you go aider..spell check messed it up on my post. @DaveT1963 has some videos out there with details. Just a single step aider you carry up to each step instead of leaving one atta hed to each stick.

This video shows a CAYG aider in work.
Edit, for what it's worth, the only thing I would change from the video's process is that I would hook up to my tether BEFORE stepping onto the platform. Other than that this is the process I would use if I was using multiple sticks.

Hello all, well I did a side by side comparison of the Tethrd Predator and the Wild Edge Perch. They are both really good platforms, but I know which one I will be using in the woods this season.

Thank you; I've just made my decision
