When I first started that post, I had made no mistakes.haha I remember reading that thread and thinking you should have posted that here first.
no shame. If you’re learnin’ you’re doing it right in my book!
X2I keep all my unsuccessful quotas as a reminder of how much of a lousy hunter I am.....

That's every hunt since first I started in 2014
90 Day Fiance' YIKES!!!!I never tell my wife how much I spent on hunting and hunting accessories. Flip side I don’t ask her about her purchases either. Works great!
I spend more time during my work day surfing hunting sites than actually working. It’s gotten worse during COVID.
I look forward to 90 Day Fiancé on Sunday night waaaay more than I do football. Haven’t missed an episode yet.
Yep. I’m hooked deep. No shame either.90 Day Fiance' YIKES!!!!
My wife has worked one or both of my days off for as long as we’ve been married. When my son was born that was an end to mobile hunting for me. I cut had elevated blinds six feet to the floor so I could reach to slide him in his car seat into the blind before I climbed up. That’s how I spent most of my hunts. He was born in March and that October he was in the blind. As he got older and could climb and move less the blinds stayed but I added ladder stands and hang on. This year he’s saddle hunted public but he much prefers his box blind overlooking a food plot. He doesn’t love it like I do. He was also never been asked if he wanted to go until he turned 13 last year. Now he goes when he wants and stays home when he doesn’t. I never felt guilty about it.
I saddle hunt because I have more fun hunting that way, not because it makes me any better of a hunter.
Still hasn't learned to wash the dishes yet?......This with both kids....when they were old enough to be home by themselves I’d ask if they wanted go and I was always happy when they said yes.
My 18 yo has never killed any weapon but a bow. This weekend he went by himself, killed a doe, cleaned it and then cooked my wife and daughter dinner....all by himself.
Kinda proud!!!
Murder is defined as an human unlawfully killing another human. Deer are not humans therefore you’re just killing them. Glad y’all got some animals to kill otherwise I’d be worried.
I honestly think hunting season helps keep the murder rate lower than it might be if we didn’t kill large game.
The “buck fever” we experience, if you experience it, is because deep down we know it’s wrong to kill.
I believe some people just need killin and because I don’t want to goto prison it builds up all year and I take it out on wildlife!!!
I think just the opposite about buck fever. I think it’s because we’re tapping into an ancient primal feeling that’s long been bread out of us since the hunter gatherer days. But it’s still there and we tap into and feel it in the moment. For me it’s a rush that can’t be matched.

I’ve always felt the same since the first time I harvested any game.
I can honestly say that I walk past my bathroom to go onto the back porch and pee more often than not. I also have issues when at an outside party and someone says the bathroom is inside .........I HATE Osso Bucco
I pee outside more than inside
I prefer Evan Williams and Busch Lite over all else
I am shamelessly a rural redneck
I shoot every armadillo I can and I'll leave them for the scavengers
This is one of the wildest things I've ever read. Lemme see if I have some Kahlua to put in this coffee before I try and unravel it.The “buck fever” we experience, if you experience it, is because deep down we know it’s wrong to kill.
