I've bought and sold/traded about five different saddle platforms. Still have yet to kill a deer out of a saddle. Probably just use my hang on and/or sit on the ground the rest of the season. But i've been eyeballing the EDP.

Haven't killed a deer in two years. Barely even went out last year. Not looking great this year either. Combination of having a 16 month old and being back in school. As others stated, I also have a bit of guilt being gone for 2-3 days to hunt out of town. Also partly laziness and not wanting to drive three hours to hunt my brother's property. I'm also not a morning person and hate the idea of getting up to drive an hour to public land that I don't have a lot of confidence in.

I think I spend more time here talking about hunting than actually hunting.

Thinking of just saving some money/hawking stuff and getting a lease for next season. Also work on getting permission on some private spots close to the house.

I have a bidet and a Squatty Potty. They are both game changers.

Recently i've thought about trying some dip. I've never dipped in my life. But then I realize how stupid that would be.

Having a lot of the same struggles you are this year. Not wanting to be gone from the kids, little bit of laziness/not wanting to deal with other hunting pressure. Only public land except for a 5 acre private chunk of woods that’s usually lack luster at best.

I did botch 2 shots in a row at 2 different does on an EDP. Was shooting off the back of the platform trying to stand on it. Don’t think it was the platforms fault, just my fault for not figuring out how best to make it work well. Still think it’s a good platform and recommend it. The journey continues on finding what I like best for hunting at height. So far I still like the hang on stand best but don’t like carrying it in all the time.

Glad I’m not the only one. Surprisingly I’m only on my second saddle and don’t have a huge desire to get anything else. Although there are a couple in still curious about. That’s surprising for me given my track record with hunting equipment so far.

I have an incredibly hard time getting out of bed in the mornings to hunt. Unless it’s turkeys
It took me a good couple minutes to spell “incredibly” even with spell check.
I crap myself a freaking lot. Couldn’t care less either.
I couldn’t care less about sports.
Coffee sucks
I like when girls tell me my butt looks good.

2 hunts ago I climbed the top side of a leaner and hunted that same to side ... I was absent minded and took a leak on the a bush/tree on the bottom side of the lean not thinking anything about it.... Send the bow down, send the pull down rope down, get about halfway down the trunk on the top side and then gravity took over swinging me under the bush/tree.... Golden showers

Note to self; whiz on the high side of the lean

I’m ashamed or frustrated at how much I like bolts compared to every high end stick / climbing method I’ve tried and read up on, endlessly.
Even bought another option for no reason recently, other than that whole public land thing.
Are they really easy to drill while hanging, even left handed?? Really on the fence about ordering a drill. Thanks.

I've never had coffee... Of any kind, ever. No desire either. Don't like hot drinks and it smells terrible to me.

I don't drink beer either. Not because I don't want to, but because I literally can't. It gives me hilariously bad gas. Just one, and I inflate like a blimp. More than one, and it ends like the Hindenburg disaster...

"Oh, the humanity..."
