"The official saddle hunting backpack thread"

How much did that suck?
Kinda suck because I had my bow, sticks, platform and gps on hand. Otherwise it wasn't to bad. Only thing I'd change is to have the deer sit up right to counter balance the weight more to my back. I ain't gonna lie though I feel that on my lower back today. But I've been working out 7 years so the pain I'm use too

Put the front legs over your shoulders like a back pack ride. Very reason I bought a game cart for hunting public land this year. No 4 wheelers and definitely not dragging a deer by myself most of the night. The private land I hunt you can drive right up to the down deer so pretty spoiled there.

I grabbed a Terrain Crater pack at the local gun store for 55 dollars which is a steal according to what I'm seeing on-line. Using the gun/bow straps to hold the predator with a plastic beener using the molle loops at the bottom I can hold a bunch of crap and it's very comfortable. I think it's supposed to be about 3000 cubic inch pack

I THINK they sold for around $200 originally too..

Correct. They were $225 I believe? I’m sure there is a price hike with them just like anything else that is desired and can’t be bought anymore.

I also wanted to state that is the Predator XL platform (I’m sure you guys know that, but some may not.) so there is a considerable amount of room in these things.

Happy hunting guys, hope you all find a deal. Good luck in the timber this year!
