... At least for me, yes. OOAL Scout on a short API stick. I mounted the displaced step on the back side to create more top side surface area. I had to drill my own hole to make the top surfaces level, FYI.

I then drilled out the Scout's bottom hole a little bigger and ran a bolt through to mount the stand off on the back side. Lastly, I left the tail of the stick a little longer than necessary so that it nests neatly in the side pocket of my Badlands Pursuit pack. (Lashing strap holds it tight)

All I have left to do is install one of my custom double step aiders, fill the tube with expanding foam, and wrap it, along with the squeaky original steps with camo vet tape...

Dang beat me to it! Cool set up.
Yep, beat me too. That's similar to what I'm planning on using as well. Hadn't thought about the double step on the back at the top, hmm, might have to test that out.

Here’s what I’ve been testing out, want to try out the scout though. OOAL products are great.

I have been trying to create one also. This one looks good!

The double top step gives you roughly the same amount of surface area as the Artisan platform would for sitting with feet flat, and the Scout is very comfortable for leaning. I didn't think I would like the angled Scout platform, but I was wrong...I dig it. Versatility in a small package.

I still laugh every time I look at my old climber hung up in the garage collecting dust. Saddle and this contraption I just pieced together is so much smaller, lighter, quieter, and more versatile than old "Clickity Clank." :)

Yeah that’s slick man, haven’t seen that yet. Yeah I’m a leaner that’s why I want to try the scout, I think I would like it. Dig your set up man!
