This is why bears suck

A tutorial for those checking corn and finding damage who mite not see this stuff all the time and reading this and wondering what’s causing the damage, shredded husks still on the stalk standing is crows or other birds, shredded husks still on the stalk tip of cob bit off deer, cobs on the ground clean as a whistle like you ate them for dinner is raccoon and porcupines, huge flat spots in the corn like 2 sumo wrestlers checked each other for ticks is bears, and of course everything hits whats on the ground for second helpings, we used to walk a lot of damaged corn fields for friends.

Exactly, and from my experience the bigger the lazy bear the bigger the flat spot, I have seen 3-5 acre flat spots usually in or near the center closest to whatever thick swamp or nasty hole there coming from, before drones and stuff a neighbor with a plane used to take my buddies up, usually it’s pretty to easy to tell where there coming from if a guy wants to make a sit for them.

Last year our damage wasn’t as bad we had a huge beech nut crop and they stayed in the big woods, this year were getting pounded and sounds like everybody is.

Thats a poor choice of words right there.... If you think your more of a sportsmen hunting over donuts and grease to make another youtube video then some farmer who is “defending” his property, not poaching, then my guess is we would not get a long, fyi I am not a farmer, but have a lot of friends that are, and I respect there property as if it were my own, anybody that plans on hunting a farmers property should do the same.... or move on.
I don't know where you are conjuring up all of this. You are literally producing an argument that does not exist. I never once said hunting over bait made me more of a sportsman than a farmer protecting his property and just because he is protecting his property does not mean he is doing it LEGALLY every time e.g. poaching instead of going through the proper channels... ALSO, I DO NOT MAKE YOUTUBE VIDEOS JUST FOR THE SAKE OF MAKING THEM. I simply film my hunts because it is what I enjoy doing. Whether there is a camera rolling or not I still would have been hunting bear over bait just as many other Mainers do every single year because it is LEGAL and has a set season... I also have many friends that own farms that I have open access to hunt and the reason I do is because I respect them, their views, and their property. So next time you try to belittle someone without knowing anything about them, stop and think. Very disrespectful and I am done with this conversation. I'm not going to hold a discussion where someone is twisting things and taking them out of context. Have a good day.

Hog just an undersized bulldozer....we all know how much damage a little dozer can do

Yeah I hated my bears but I'd still take them over hogs. And bears are very difficult to hunt without bait (thus the reason I never killed one). Still should of shot this one that climbed up about 10' in my tree though... They roam a long ways

I dont think you understand the difference between the 2

I just meant as far as meat goes and how much easier they are to handle once you shoot one. My bad for not being more clear.
