Throw ball setup

I’m sure I’ll tweak it, but the first draft is done. My first shot went way too far, got twisted and broke the line. Replaced the line with some 14lb xt but haven’t shot it yet….this is gonna work. Wondering if I can just shoot the paracord attached to a 3/4 or 1oz spoon….I’ll try it. Need to get a spool of paracord now!
Paracord will create more friction running over a limb/crotch than a throwball line or fishing line so more weight will be needed to get the line to drop down...

Clever idea using a slingshot. Made me wonder if anyone ever tried using their bow to launch a line over a limb/crotch. You know.... use stuff your carrying with you anyway.

No reason you couldn't pop a bowfishing arrow in your quiver, maybe put a small game blunt on it. Please report back if you try this!

I was thinking maybe this. That’s why I put mono instead of braid on this little reel. The 4 or 6lb that was on it was junk, but 14lb xt wil cut your fingers! I was surprised how well that spoon flipped over small branches and stuff. I could pop it over a branch and let it fall. I need to get used to grabbing the line when I know I’ve shot it way too far!
I got 500’ of 700 paracord on the way!
ive never pulled a rope over a crotch like this so I’m wondering if I should make a separate pull down cord out of this 1/8” dyneema cord I have, or go with the paracord…….I got the 700 jic
