Today's Blessings

I injured my shoulder pretty bad last week and the pain spread from shoulder to chest to lungs. After three sleepless nights I went to ER and found that I had inflamed lymph nodes in my chest , several pinched nerves in my neck and shoulder, and a pretty severe lung infection. Blood tests were good and the antibotics are slowly helping to ease the pain. My wife made me go to the ER, so I am blessed for her and my health.

I think that's also why married men live longer they say. There wife's made em go. :)
 
Today we laid my mother to rest. We were blessed by many friends and family to help say our goodbyes. I am truly blessed to have been her son. I am blessed to have felt the love and prayers by many in our community where I live and this community of hunters that are complete strangers who gave so many kind words and prayers for me and my family. You guys are a blessing to more people than you may even realize. SO go be different tomorrow and show that same compassion and care to someone you cross paths with. You never know whose life you can affect by even the smallest kind gesture or kind words.

I'm sorry for your loss.
 
This morning I get to spend some time with 2 of my grand kids. This afternoon and tomorrow I’m going to spend some time with my hunting partner of almost 50 years prepping for the upcoming archery season. Blessed to be retired and still be in reasonably good health. Only two types of days when you’re retired: Good days and Real Good days!

We are all blessed today to celebrate Labor day. A day to remember all those who came before us and here now who all labor. For the benefit of a better country and a better life. God bless us all, and lift up those who work hard to make ends meet. Bless those who work to provide and are away from there families for there sake. May they be able to enjoy a day of rest today and spend time with there families and ones they love. Happy Labor Day Everyone! God Bless us all!
