I promise to be a better participant this year....yea, I'm in. Right now I'm shooting a 60#, 62" Kimsha Mattawoman II longbow or a 65# Bear t/d. When I'm not carrying a stick bow, it'll be my Mathews Triumph....with fingers, cause THAT'S archery...lol.

Same here. Last year I had little desire to keep going out after I filled my freezer in the metro hunts, in which I was required to hunt out of a TMA approved stand and 5 point harness.

I'm definitely up for having traditional teams in the contest guys, I think its a pretty badass idea :D. This is not the official contest thread so just make sure you post that you are in in the other one. I will sort out the trad teams when I set the teams.

Looks like we need a couple trad teams? Perhaps even a self bow team? Count me in for trad team.

I also think this year we should all pitch in 10 bucks or so. 1/2 to go to winning team (maybe a few seasonal trophies: best & worst season awards?) and the other 1/2 to go to Red for future upgrades/maintenance of this site. I know it might not be much but I believe we all should help Red with costs of maintaining a site that gives back so much to our small community - which is growing due to HIS site???? I'd gladly contribute.

I may also be shooting trad this year. Been practicing since last November and I will see where I'm at once season starts. Really looking forward to getting my first deer with a long bow!
