I don't post here much but today I've got something worth talking about. I just met one of the inventors behind the Panther self climbing platform. I not only met the guy but I also tried out his product. I know this term gets used alot but guys, this thing is a game changer. It is only about 6 pounds, goes on the tree easily, locks in rock solid once you're at height, and climbs like a dream. Now fellas, I'm 69yrs old and if an old man can climb as easily as I did, you young guys will not have any problem at all. When it comes to saddle hunting, this is such a no-brainer idea that I can't believe the bigger treestand/saddle companies have not come out with something. I think it's great that a bunch of younger guys that just love deer hunting and want to make it easier are taking the plunge and living out a dream to make it a reality. I think the platform is supposed to hit the market in July and be priced in the $400 range. They also have several other products that are available right now on their website. Definitely worth a look. BTW, other than the fact that I live in the same town as one of the inventors, I am in no way shape or form associated with their company. I just think it's a great idea and worth looking into if you're into saddle hunting.
