TURKEY TURKEY TURKEY

Got a few on cam here's a couple of pics these are from yesterday. Not only is time broken, this cam no longer takes night pics. That's OK, I don't hunt turkey and deer at night. It did take 98 pics in 24 hrs. turkey and deer walking back and forth this is a 4 trail intersection with a big seasonal pond behind the camera tree and plots on either end.

Happy to help thin out those strutters!!! Great pics

Oh man I have enough help. Every deer hunter that boarders me also turkey hunt. Now the hubby who's never hunted them nor wanted to has decided he wants to hunt as well. He NEVER watches hunting vids. Caught him watching one last night. Lol
I have some great past pics from when I sat in a blind and shot them with my camera before season. I'm thinking I will be going out to do that again soon, when I know my cough is finally gone. I'll post those up.

I know, but man both here at home and camp are crazy with turkey hunters. I actually have more run ins during turkey season now than deer season. I actually called in a guy that was with a client. He was surprised all to hell when he had his client get out of the truck and the second they cleared the road I popped out of the bushes. His client was five shades of embarrassed while the guide tried talking his way out of the pile he'd just stepped in...I have to admit hunting the"hunters" is sometimes more fun than the turkies. For sure they will talk way more ..hahaha

Does anyone know if an 11 or 12 year old Primos Jellyhead choke tube would be ok to shoot the new TSS loads out of? I see there are new chokes on the market that say TSS on them but I’d rather not buy a new choke and spend a fortune on the new shells. What do you guys think?

You’ll be fine. Jellyhead is a damn fine choke, don’t ever fall for the temptation to replace it.

Jelly head is better than factory for sure. In our testing, Indian Creek produces a spectacular pattern with TSS, but the Carlsons TSS was the tightest of all we tried. Without a scope, red dot, or Dead Ringer, you will miss up close with it. Fortunately, Carlsons are cheap and can get them for under $30 on closeout in a few weeks when the seasons wind down.

The fletching pile is growing....

With a little cooperation I plan on adding more in the morning.

I woke up well after first light to dead phone. Forgot to plug into the charger.

Got out there for a few this morning, set up right by the roost and at game time some folks came walking by making noise then no more gobbles

Only been hunting 5x this season. Today was the 5x and got rained out. I'm tired, umpired 16 high school baseball games in 2 weeks and have 8 scheduled for this coming week. I would kinda like to pop up my double bull, have bow in hand and just rest all day while calling between naps.

This is turkey hunting!!!!HAMMER DOWN

This flock walked right past the spot I set a blind for those quick bow hunts. This is a regular travel pattern and the spot sets up good to decoy from long range as it sits on a hill between two wood lots with consistent roosting and open views. I like hunting this spot on a windy day. Gives the decoys some life and brings the turkeys out in the open.

First albino I’ve seen in the wild!

We have white around here somewhere also. Took this pic from the truck window. Last time I saw him was just before the season started. Before he was a regularIMG_4444.jpg

Called this double beard in for my son this morning for our opening day. Watched him with 3 hens at 80+ yds for almost 2 hrs in the rain and they left the field for the woods. I got aggressive with the hens and called them back within range finally.
