Just water for me (in various size gatorade bottles because they are free and pretty durable/don't make noise like the modern-thin-as-pantyhose water bottles). I wish they made edible antifreeze because it stinks having your water freeze while sitting in the cold all day.

What started out as an eighth-grade science project has morphed into a possible product for food companies and farmers. Yuqi Chen, a 13-year-old Woodland Middle School student, has created an edible antifreeze solution out of liquid squeezed from...www.duluthnewstribune.com
Prefer LMNT over Liquid IV which has extra sugar I don't need.
Liquid IV
Started using it at the fire dept, then in the woods & now almost daily.
I get it at Costco or Amazon depending on price at the time.

One of these has been my morning “cup of coffee” for several years.

is the freezing point the same as water or a bit lower due to the various electrolytes?
Prefer LMNT over Liquid IV (which has extra sugar I don't need) for hydration help.... Also trying some of the MT OPS Ignite and Ignite Lite for when you want the pick me up of a coffee but aren't close to facilities..lol! so far so good!
I bought my Nalgene in 1998 and it’s literally been all over the world. I lost those measurements too but I just can’t bring myself to buying a new bottle. My lid is being held on with weed trimmer line. Lol I may have attachment issues.I usually drink my water straight and unflavored. But if I'm in the BWCA and drinking filtered lake water, or boiled surface water, it can get unpalatable. I like the sugarfree Arizona and Great Value powder pouches at Walmart. The sugarfree ones don't gunk up my Nalgenes as much.
So I really only use these on BWCA trips; on these occasions I bring as many Nalgenes as I can to store water, and reserve one for drinking from. That one gets the flavor additives. The others can be used for cleaning, or making tea or coffee or cooking or whatever. It can be a bit of a pain to transfer water to between Nalgenes in a bobbing canoe but oh well.
On the topic... my drinking Nalgene has probably 50' of duct tape and electrical tape spooled on to it. At one point I knew what volumetric measurements lined up with what edge of the tape but have since forgotten.
Aldi? It looks like an Aldi brand
LMNT is salty, but I don’t mind it.
Ok, I am new,(I have been a long-time reader) so a year ago I went on a Keto diet so I could survive being an Advisor on my son's Philmont trek. (as well as other medical issues I was dealing with) I was able to cut the weight, but the water is great but very boring. One of the things I needed was something with no sugar and would keep electrolytes up. I was sitting in Walmart and was trying to find something that did not cost a lot of money and still do what I wanted. I found Propel (by Gator aid) which is about $3.00/Box of 10. And it comes in several flavors.
Because of my son and Scouts, we have a ton of Nalgene’s around the house. I know I saw them at REI and other places. (not a fan of REI)
Sorry, this is a bit wordy for my first post.
