What’s your camping setups for DIY hunts

I just picked up a 12v 100ah LifePo4 Battery with bluetooth to power gps kayak motor. This thread got me thinking, I think this bad boy will power a heated blanket for a night or two for the late December ML hunt without monoxiding myself to a perm slumber like some of these tent/heater jobs.

You that isn’t a bad idea. I have a battery bank I can hook to a small inverter that I could carry a heated blanket for my hammock. I’ll have to see what this does at home first

When car camping or hunting and camping with family, we use my Coleman Hooligan 3 person tent. I'm planning on doing some solo hunts eventually and have a hammock setup I already have for backpacking. I may need an under quilt, however my hammock has a sleeve for a pad, and my sleeping back has a sleeve for a pad too, but I haven't had to use it yet

So we always do several camping and hunting trips with just the boys Been thinking about it for a while so i picked us up a Kodiak Canvas 12x12 Lodge with the encloses awning Also picked up a Camp Chef Alpine stove Looking forward to giving it a try Should be real nice for our purposes Two weeks in Missouri will be the longest trip this year Cant wait

I picked up a 10x10 Kodiak flex bow on Black Friday and love it. I'll take some pics this fall when we camp but it is an awesome tent and a huge upgrade to my camping setup. I do want to build out an enclosed trailer when my son gets a little older and starts going more

What 2 weeks are you going to MO?

I have a 16x16 girlscout canvas tent. Yep still has the logo above door! I put a stove jack in the back wall, Built a wood stove out of an old air compressor. Keeps it warm and you can cook on it.

Pretty much exactly what I would like to do to mine before season.
Every time I get a new truck I say exactly the same thing, then a few years goes by and it doesn’t happen, if my current truck can get me to retirement I’ll buy either a new Tundra or Taco, probably Tundra, and it’s happening, order a camper shell the same time so it matches, I think a setup like this would be super slick for short trips exploring!

I want it for the mobility and security. I dont like hunting solo and leaving my crap in a tent while I am gone all day hunting. Not that a truck cap cant be easily broken into, it just seems more secure to me. That an not having to deal with a bunch of wet crap from camping too.

Usually quick lightweight and mobile camp setup (small tent/canoe etc)
This one regular moose hunting spots that get visited, we built a tippie
Super nice when weather turns bad
