What did you buy today?

I have bought a bunch of stuff in the last couple of months including a John Deere 1025 tractor. However in light of the current situation, I am going to put a damper on my spending for a couple of weeks and just keep it to the necessities. I got my last shipment today from Doublesteps which was a Madrock. Here is a pic of the tractor that I bought.

Can you have enough? I have my always around stash but wanted to stock up on my “play” ammo. Especially now that my brother in Kansas City just told me they are going to “house arrest” for 30 days. I’m going to be shooting a lot if I’m home with the fam 24/7 straight for 30 days.

If I'm shooting a five shot group I need five. If I'm shooting a deer I need one. I have enough.
That's like asking if you have enough saddles. How many can you take up the tree with you? Six is enough. :D

I can relate. I've definitely been spendthrift since the beginning of the year. Didn't buy a tractor but the transmission went out on my commuter car so spent money on another used one. Built an AR, bought ammo, magazines, new sight for my muzzleloader, new bullets and sabots for my muzzleloader, more broadheads, bow sight, to name a few. I sold a few things to offset some of the cost but I don't think I came out ahead ha. Looking at a fish finder for my kayak now.

talked to them at the GAOS in PA and called them. But I talked to a lady that works for them and they put me on a list to purchase the 2.0
I got a email yesterday and a invoice that had a link to their website and completed my preorder purchased.

Yeah, it's crazy. So far of what ordered from cabelas, I've gotten 3 different shipments..each coming from different locations. Noone stocks volume anymore...

There are bulk ammo sites like SG Ammo and Target Sports USA. But they have both been hammered. Both probably have better prices than Cabela's/Bass Pro. Usually you can get 1K rounds of 223 for $160-$300 depending on if you want steel or brass cased. Also can usually get 1K rounds of 9mm for less than $200. I should have ordered more when the chaos first started.

I ordered from Target Sports and 24 hrs later the 9mm and 6.5 creedmoor I got were sold out. They are also 2+ weeks to ship out. That was almost a week ago.

Yeah SG Ammo stopped taking orders all together.
