What did you do today?

Snow coming in Tuesday and am holding off on further hunts until Wednesday so I can see where the deer are moving...and the sled pulls easier in snow.

Out of boredom, I made a leather 6-ball loading block for my Hawkens. It's currently being dyed black but it fits the round balls and patches perfectly. I doubled up the leather so the ball is fully contained. If the lead free doesn't do into effect next year, it should also fit a 50cal minne ball equally well.
 
Welp, the loading block turned out better than I thought it would and have been bitten...again...by the BP bug. Now, I'm wanting to make my own possibles and belt bags and a few other things.

At least I now have a hobby/obsession for the long winter.
 
I just ordered stealth strips for the hawk heliums. He is going to love them.

I had two meniscus surgeries on same leg and my beast full length one stik is too long for me now.
It is an awesome stik but I am going to have to trade or sell it to get myself a Beast mini. I can just get my leg high enough but at that angle I can't get up without straining whats left of my knee.

I sold my Hobie PA 14 for the same reason. My knee couldn't take trying to cross a lake. I can walk woods but the seated motion was another story.
 
I could not get myself to buy a Rem 7mm mag. as I don't care for the belt, twist rate and bullet range.
Just personal preference.

Today I took delivery of a Mesa FFT 7mmPRC.
My biggun. It will do anything I every want.
