Shot with the EZ V some more. Swapped inserts and think a faster one will suit me better. Also shot with my Silverback release more. Makes me realize how much I punch the trigger with my with wrist release. My groups tighten up immediately.

Today I made an attachment for my wife's window cleaning pole so I can set throw line in the trees with lots of branches. I can reach 20 feet fairly easy and it collapses to 5', and weighs maybe a pound. Then I started welding up a new platform, will finish it tomorrow.

Cleaned up what was left of the 40x15 mishmashed POS shed in my backyard. Demoed and hauled it all out myself, so glad to have it gone. All that's left is a pile of metal now. Next step is to bring in dirt and seed

I got a chance to work on my rig with max6 limbs on.
I built full length .300 spine with 400 grains up front.
They are flying pretty good with a 30 yard point on launching 720 total grains.
Going to work the tip weight down to try for 40 yards.
I'm running three 2.75" feathers cut from the wide end of 5" parablics.
They look like dart fletches.

Went Trout fishing Saturday and Sunday, just got where I could post pictures. Cought all on either rainbow powerbait or black and yellow panther martin #4 spinner.

Sunday was the maiden voyage for my fishing Kayak, and it went great aside from losing my rod and net going down some unexpected rapids...

Well,i got my arrows dialed in today. I started shooting my unfletched arrow and kept getting nock right. I adjusted my rest left and it didn't clear up. I set it back and to the right and got nock left. It was starting to drive me crazy. Then i set it to spec and started playing with intentionally torquing the bow and found that was my problem all along. I adjusted the rest just a tad and now i can get either tail left or tail right depending on me torquing the grip. If i do my part i had bareshaft, field point and fixed broadhead hitting the same spot at 20..
It is amazing to me how easy it is to torque my halon x. That will have to be my main focus in my practice from now on,to not torque.

I feel your pain. The first thing I learned when I started paper tuning for my heavy arrow build was that my form sucked, which I never knew. Good news is.. now I know and I can focus on it when I practice.

It really blows my mind what a little side pressure on the grip will do. It's nuts.

Tied on new cat whiskers, shot my bow for a while, watered the garden and went on an ant killing assault. The ants are an every year battle.

I struggle with the same problem with my Bowtech assassin. Never realized I was doing it until I did my heavy arrow build and started bare shaft tuning. Lot’s of arrows need to travel down range before season to correct this issue.

We went out Saturday as a group to explore and work some trails. 370 acres of land. Water. Fields. Mixed timber. And a barn to call “home” for overnights. Now the barn is suspect. But it’s better than no barn I’d say. My only “fear” is that the owner doesn’t care what we do to it really. Just wants it “more huntable”. I (glass half empty filter) hear that as yeah. I’ll charge a few grand to get a group together to make my land better and then I’ll toss y’all and then I’ll come hunt next year.

Even if that happens. It’s still gonna be a fun year. Tons of fresh sign. So they are out there. One bee sting and one end over with a grandpa ina 4 wheeler. Carefully pops. If you are in a 7’ embankment and you have a bike, in gear, and let off the brakes... it ain’t gonna be pretty.

He’s good. A little sore and we were able to manhandle the bike out of the creek

But a great day.
