What Release Are You Hunting With?

I’m thinking about trying a new release after this deer season. What are you using and what do you recommend?
What style of release are you using now? I’d recommend sticking with that style, so if you’re using index stick with it unless you’re really confident. I shoot a thumb and shoot a hot shot vapor 3

I’ve used the same release since 2005. It’s a Trufire Splitfire. Allows direct hold on the string without needing a D-Loop. No damage to string with 1000s of pulls

I need to give thumb releases more time, I find myself going back to old reliable index style release. Purchased a B3 Hawk a few years ago and was able to set the length while also adjusting the travel very low and tension a tad higher. As long as I wrap my finger over the trigger, (and avoid using my fingertip), I tend to be consistent. May give a thumb another try, but knowing I'll need time with it, I won't pick up a thumb until practice season next year.

Ive been shooting a Scott Longhorn Hex for years, and love it.

I shoot it split like a hinge between my index and middle fingers.

I shoot a trufire index release. So far i managed to focus on shoot execution and not punch the thing.

Carter Quickie wrist release and a Truefire Hardcore. I also sometimes shoot a Trueball Chappy Boss thumb release.
