Do you have the hush stand already? If so, what are your thoughts?
I’ve had mine for a month so so now and have been able to put 10 or so sits on it.
I have been very impressed with it.
The seat looks very small, but with the way it’s designed, it sits a lot bigger than it is. It makes it easier to stand up and keep the seat out of the way without flipping it up if you don’t have time. It also locks in as a load shelf too.
The platform size is just right for me as a hang on or as a hybrid set up. I’ve been pairing it with a RCH.
It’s very light and the non-skid coating he puts on it does a great job. Being that it isn’t a machined metal stand, the metal on metal noise is much more dead than with a machined stand, similar to the noise of cast.
The micro leveling acme screw is an excellent idea. It’s dead silent and is literally micro adjustable.
I wasn’t crazy about it not having a batwing style bracket at first, but it sets to the tree and isn’t going anywhere. You can set it like a climbing stick and it’s solid. NO need to fiddle around with toe-hooking it.
Outside of my 10 or so actual sits, I’ve messed around with it on some pretty bad trees and have hung it with only 1 or 2 teeth on the tree and it wasn’t moving.
I don’t do videos, but have been thinking about doing one on this stand just because I don’t think it’s one people think of when they’re looking for a lightweight set up and for $100-200 less than some others, I think it’s worth it.
