Does I girth hitch the legs and the head together. Bucks around the burrs. How do you use your drag? Around the neck or up through the bottom of the mouth and over the nose?

I have been wanting to get one those ever since I seen Greg Staggs do a video on it.No bows or arrows, just something you take with you, every time you go and it's Your Favorite.
For me, it's a device called The Booger. I picked it up at the Ohio Deer & Turkey Expo, over 25 years ago, for $20. It's always in my gear bag and I never hunt without it. I've used it to retrieve a hat, single arrow, release, etc. Just tie it on my bow retrieval line, set it and drop it on the item, from about a foot over it. It'll grab hold, like a leg hold trap....but not as hard.

I left my rope long and if you want to get the head of a heavier critter up off the ground for an easier drag, just tie an overhand in it to shorten where you want. How do you use your drag? Around the neck or up through the bottom of the mouth and over the nose?
Next doe, try cutting a slit on the under side of the jaw up into the mouth. Run the rope loop up from the bottom, out the front of the mouth and over the nose. A buddy showed me this on a big a hog and other than the weight it was the easiest drag I ever remember.Does I girth hitch the legs and the head together. Bucks around the burrs.
I posted a link. The Booger is still being made and is available. Well worth every penny that I paid.I have been wanting to get one those ever since I seen Greg Staggs do a video on it.
Does everyone know your Lab was named after a man of the cloth and mama’s name was Hannah? And can eat up his weight in groceries? Love Jerry ReedPacseat. It's not even close at this point.
Thanks for the info. I'm definitely going to have one in backpack next season.I posted a link. The Booger is still being made and is available. Well worth every penny that I paid.

I have to say it's a tie between my Pacseat and Eberlestock Bandit.
Extra clothes, kill kit, communications, water, etc. As for setup, If I'm carrying the Pacseat, I simply clip to the Pacseat. As for the saddle, I didn't get this until the end of the year and haven't carried saddle set up with it yet.what Do you carry w the bandit? What’s your setup?
