Which sticks to get?

Yes, $73/stick would be a crazy deal for EWO....but they look to be $122ea in the configuration that loads, and I don't even see a way to option down to $73 and have a full stick, so I'm not exactly sure how that works.

Ok, correction. IF you select 12 inch post, NO bottom steps, NO button, NON anodized everything, Standard (not light) standoffs....you will get $73.74!

yay.............

That's my exact setup!
I have a 12 inch post, an API step, 2 standoffs from a Lone Wolf stick, some scrap straps, and spares grade 8 bolts to make a button, and a drill. Pretty sure its going to cost me less than $20 of materials and 30 minutes to make a one stick setup that will work fine.

But to be fair, a few of my birthday gifts were directly transfer to DanO to streamline the process.....

I might wait then, I have stacked outdoors sticks now that I like but I'm trying to cut weight and they compare to the beasts that way.

It's all give and take right now in the stick market, with numerous good options and no clear leader in all facets of what's desirable. The Tethrd sticks looked to cover alot of ground, but have some problems.

Since you have already a set of sticks to use, consider your full setup and hunting style when making the leap to a new product. At least that makes sense to me. Then, consider where you won't make concessions (safety, weight, packability, quietness, ease of use, made in USA...pricepoint...etc.).....It gets to be a bit like choosing a spouse. Don't unnecessarily rush it.

I've found that just because a stick seems to be best in class in one category, that may not be true in a particular setup. It would be good to know what you run or plan to run, for the best recommendations.

I’ve tried a lot of the sticks except the Tethrd One. I will not be trying them because of the glue and I know the standoffs are too close to the tree for me.

My Picks……EWO Ultralights, Beast or Shikar FXD.

I kept the EWO Ultralights because of the stand offs gives best clearance off the tree…… I sold the Beast because the EWO had better stand-off clearance for my liking.Great stick though! Very Solid. These were my top 2 and the EWO stand offs made the difference for me. Both sticks are super light as well.

i went through that. I came back to beast sticks after I had an epiphany that inline stacking is super important to me.

Yea….. The Beast Stick stacking is definitely the best in that category as they go in-line when stacked. The EWO’s are staggered when stacked. Both of these are great sticks and tie in every category except stacking and standoffs. Beast sticks win stacking. EWO wins Standoff distance. Comes down to which of those is most important to you.

I absolutely love my beast sticks with an amsteel rope mod.

The rope mod is flipping awesome on the beast sticks. I was amazed how much I actually like them for mine too. Not so much with a daisy chain. You can get them as tight as you’d ever want with the rope mod though.

What size amsteel rope did you full bury? 3/16" or 1/4"??

You don't have to worry about buying tethrd sticks because they are sold out. My personal 2nd choice would be LWCG double steps.
