Whitetail Forensics Camo

The only camo pattern that ever made sense to me when hunting at height was Broadside Camo. Scott took a bunch of really high res pictures of the canopy during the different seasons. He then combined the photos in each season to come up with a pattern that is an actual picture of what the canopy looks like. A practical and less "scientific" approach to camo. The clothing also supported saddles with bridges. Which actually works well. I'm not sure if Broadside or Versaskins did it first. But it was a really good idea and was nice to see a camo company cater to the saddle. BTW Versaskins is still around and has a saddle option if you want it. Broadside is no more
I agree with you the Broadside camo is a great “at height” hunting pattern as well. Also a good late season snow camo pattern. I have the Ascender Hoody but the material is not as quiet as I would like. The hoody is built well though.

Didn’t realize Broadside was out of business….

I have an og AH Flex saddle in Broadside.

Even though it's my favorite saddle overall, I tend to only use it during winter. Otherwise, it's too white for my taste.

The old dark green wool still works pretty well for me in the timber, on the ground or in the tree. I am kind of anxious to try out the Code of Silence outfits but it has to get a lot cooler for that. My favorite camo pattern of all time was the Skyline Apparition that Cabela's carried in 330d. Supplex. So far it was the only camo I ever used that deer would actually see through you every time in the Illinois hardwoods and thickets. It was pretty noisy for bow hunting unless it was windy or raining.

Did the mods really censure the acronym to this camo?? The three letters??
There's an autofilter on several words/acronyms (please don't go trying them out, Thank You!) including the name of a nationwide sporting goods chain. Us mods would just directly delete (or edit if the occasion merited it) posts with bad language that came to our attention.

Edit: "RIchard's" Sporting Goods (Thanks @Plebe)

Censor, no.

They filled in the abbreviation so it wouldn’t be confused for something else. That’s editing.

The acronym, yes, it’s a matter of censure for obvious reasons consistent with forum rules.

Bad posts, I thank you. Autofilter, I get that. Curious, why the sporting goods chain? No offense intended.

In my opinion you want the open patterns not the solid dark blobs we look like with regular camo patterns. If you’re against the sky these open patterns especially are most useful.

I care about the quality of the clothing about 97% and the camo pattern about 3%. That's a pretty good pattern but a really stupid name. And the clothes look like bottom of the barrel plastic crap.

My fiancé got me a shirt and pants for Christmas…I really wanted asio stuff but I’m sure it will work fine.
