Who Did Not Snort the Fairy Dust? And Why?

I’ve killed a few (35-40) hogs. To say EFOC is required is misleading at best. I killed the hogs pictured with 400-445 grain arrows and FOC around 10-12%. I’ve killed a few with heavier set ups and generally prefer arrow weights over 500 grains and a more serious (14 or 15%) FOC. However, I personally prioritize a tuned setup, sharp fixed blade, and shot placement WAY ahead of EFOC.

What make and model of broadheads do you like? I'm changing up my arrow setup a bit this year.

I’ve shot quite a few over the years. I’ve probably killed more animals with Slick Tricks than anything else. I like improving my set up and I’m always looking for something better. I shot sever deer with Iron Will wides and a few with IW solids in 2020. Oddly enough I was back to Slick Tricks (yeah I’m all over the map) for Whitetail last fall.

In 2021 I’ll be shooting the new Iron Will wide cut solid in 150 grains. I really like the look and durability of the solids and the cutting diameter of the wides is awesome. Best of both worlds for 2021.
