The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

Our Mexican plums down here typically drop before season opens in October. Every now and then one is still hanging and it is definitely a good place to be.
I say it’s a Persimmon. The leaves are a bit different than the ones on my area but it could be a hybrid that has been planted.
Wild plum leaves, wild plum fruit, wild plum height and all other wild plum characteristics. It’s a plum.

All the persimmons I have ever seen have a little cap where the stem is.But i figured the taste test would be the best bet as long as someone else did it.
