Is it difficult shooting out of a saddle with a crossbow? I know you have to watch the limb clearance to the tree and other gear but how stable can you get it?
It’s easy. Just make sure you have enough clearance for your limbs. I’ve clicked the tree before. Not good for the bow and you miss your shot.Is it difficult shooting out of a saddle with a crossbow? I have an excalibur micro. I have no problem shooting out of a tree. Just be sure your limbs on your bow are clear and you are good to go.Is it difficult shooting out of a saddle with a crossbow? I know you have to watch the limb clearance to the tree and other gear but how stable can you get it?

I guess I like the excalibur because it is simple to fix, and yet hard to break and has a great warranty. And it shoots well.
I am right handed but shoot lefthanded. I like to lean left as a preference.
Since the crossbow bolt is held in place by the bow I do not see why you cannot shoot the bow on an angle if you wish too. That gives more room to shoot from the tree.
I have zero issues shooting to my right or left with my Mission 320. I highly suggest practicing so that you can shoot both right and left handed and it eliminates most of the platform and ring of steps need, at least for me. I have taken more deer than I can count left handed with xbow and gun and I am right handed.

Best thing to do is grab the .22 and hit the range. Shoot a few hundred rounds left handed. Start from the bench and progress to off-handed. It's not that hard, and it's a trick that's saved the day for me a couple of times.Roger that. I already practice shooting left with my crossbow. I can't get my head around properly shooting rifle on my off shoulder. Possible yes, weird feeling, for sure...
