Best steps ever made for us saddlehunters

I would also like to hear a price... was/am interested, but also came across very skeptical.....

I don't think @ImThere was offended, just an odd classifieds post thats all lol. I haven't seen a post where a guy tries to sell something with no price listed. Seems a bit odd to me as well. Hopefully it all checks out.
 
Guys, as a detective I work dozens of scam cases a year. I live in the criminal world for 10 hours a day (if I'm lucky). This has BS written all over it. The wording this guy is using is indicative of about every fraudulent case I work. It's written in such a way that English is probably not his first language. These guys have been doing their homework over the last several years. Their grammar has gotten much better but when you say it out loud, you realize no one talks this way.

And as of this post, it looks like he still hasn't listed a price and I'm curious if he's responded in any way to @Jefferson10940. WAY too many red flags! I may be wrong, and if I am, I'll eat crow. I'm a big boy. I can handle it.

My dad was a detective too.... He was usually right and never easily conned . I think I would trust your judgment for now.
 
I just looked at his profile page. There's nothing there to indicate he is a legit person at all. Look at his recent postings. He's trolling the classifieds. He was trying to but in on @Bowhunter83 who's post says he's specifically wanted to trade LW sticks for stepps. He's looking for a sucker. Don't be one.

Do you have a tracking number? I can show you several fake ones from cases I've worked that look legit. How did he have you pay? I'm not trying to crash your party. I'm just looking out. I DO NOT like this!
 
Here's a fake one sent via email right here. Everything listed below was in the email. In this case they were trying to get you to click "here". After you do your computer gets nailed with a virus that extracts every bit of personal and financial information you've ever put into it. These guys are super slick and they are getting better at what they do everyday.

I have not heard back from him. Now I feel like an idiot! Lol. At least all this guy has is my email.

All right guys, I said I was prepared to eat crow and I may have to do it. I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with Josh McKinney from Ohio.

He sent me pics while we were on the phone of what he has. He definitely has the mother load of strap on Ameristeps! He said none of them are recalls.

Josh is a very energetic guy and he’s also an elevator salesman. He does talk a lot like he types. And he calls his wife his “lady”. He’s not used to selling things online and generally does things in person. Josh is not really well-versed in selling things on a classified forum. He’s been holding out from responding to anyone because a guy from Indiana told him that he wanted all of them. This was yesterday. But then Josh sent him the photos of how many he actually had. Josh guesses he has about 135 individual steps. It sounds like the guy from Indiana may have bitten off more than he could chew not knowing that Josh had that many. You do the math at $25 a step and you’ll understand.

Josh gave me permission to post the photos he sent me and his phone number. Just be advised he was firing up the grill and getting ready to feed his kids. Don’t everybody go nuts on him at once.

Better to be skeptical than taken advantage of. It is just human nature to second guess nowadays.

Talk about an unexpected investment right there.... gold mine is right!!!
