I watched this deer since he was in velvet. We never would meet up. I’d hunt one spot, he would show up on my other spot. I had pics of him all over. I was afraid a neighbor would get him because he was so mobile and had plenty pics of him going and coming across the property line. I couldn’t get him with my recurve and wasn’t in a saddle. He just didn’t want to be famous on saddlehunter.com. But I’ll take him anyway and I’m proud of him none the less. I got him with my new 6.5 creedmoor. All he gave me was a neck shot at 150yards. Just a little out of recurve range.
