Input wanted for the next Aero Hunter model

I'm new to posting and older then most on here 61. That being said I hunt the Everglades early Aug. and have to walk through a lot of knee deep water in the Cypress. I hunt by my self and seldom hunt the same tree twice. It would be nice to have a buckle to put it on in the water and early it's always wet.
 
Alright... as someone who doesn't even wear a climbing harness in the tree, I have to say something... The only "safety harness" I have ever willingly used on a regular basis (either climbing or hunting) had detachable leg straps. If I had to step in and out every time, I probably wouldn't have used it...
I am sorry, I am "that guy". I trust my homemade equipment enough to forego standard "safety practices". I have been climbing and tree trimming (except the last 8 years) most of my life. I spent all of high school and college bouldering and free climbing rock walls up to 60 feet high. If the harness isn't easy to get in and out of, I won't use it.
There is a reason I jumped straight to a Sit drag... I have never worn bulky harnesses, and VERY rarely had leg straps. I have had 15'+ falls on non-climbing rated rope with only body wraps and had no injury. I know this isn't ideal, and don't recommend it for anyone else...... but mention it to point out just how OVERKILL all these commercial saddles are. An Aerohunter with detachable leg straps is still an immensely secure system. If both legs are unclipped, it will be very uncomfortable to have a restrained fall. But, you will undoubtedly survive. IT WILL SAVE YOU. Without the leg straps it is a more comfortable, padded riggers belt. Riggers belts (even in their most basic form) have been arresting HARD falls for many years. I have a buddy that spun outside an AC-130 on simply an inexpensive riggers belt for 4-5 minutes before he could be pulled back in. It is a solid form of safety restraint, regardless of what HSS or OSHA say.

I have to say you have been very lucky. I have worked heavy construction for the past thirty two years. Never take safety for granted . Take it from me I was hurt at work last October and I am still trying to get back from my injuries.
 
I like my EVO the way it is, so I will stay with that. However. If I were to by a new, I would want molle loops that go around much like the trophyline.
 
I am so tempted. I haven't called yet, but I am interested to see what his plans are

It would be great if they came out with a evo sit drag hybrid. Something you could just attach like the sitdrag but still have the ability to rappel like with the evo and linemans belt loops.
 
Hey guys i spoke with NT yesterday about the new version of the aerohunter coming out!! They stated they are hoping for early august release. I am excited to see the updated version lol they did not give me details but they seemed very excited and positive about it.
