Shot a doe out at 34 yds this morning about 6:35am. Also saw 4 small bucks that i passed on. The arrow from the doe had green brownish matter which im shocked cause i swear it was a good shot when i saw it hit. Found some blood but and think i might have bumped her 15 minutes ago. Need to wait this one out.

Yes - good luck. Think you're doing the right thing waiting. Hopefully just caught a little guts on exit. Was it quartering toward you at all?

I remember she was semi broadside maybe quartering away. She will die i have time lol!!
 
Had 3 does and a spike show up to my weak side. Never heard them just happened to see the first one.

The second one let out a couple soft grunts. Pretty cool.

Thursday morning sit, nothing, got down and a few jumped up 40 yards away :( Friday morning sit, think I got too close to bed down and they took off :( I keep striking out

Can't hunt today, gotta do some family stuff, glad I have a sweet job that allows me to sneak away a little during the week!

This is a sad day. We were unable to find her. It was me and 5 of my buddies we searched and even had a couple dogs that are trained to find and follow bloodtrails. We ended up putting in 8 miles. The blood stop after about 1000 yds. with no deer. This is the first deer I have ever lost. Im sorry guys i wish I could have done better.
 
You put in 8 miles with 5 guys and a couple of dogs you absolutely done all you could do to recover her. Kudos to you for the effort, most guys give up after about 15mins.

It sucks but I don't know what else I could have done. It all just doesnt make sense because the blood was good and I know my shot was good. I just dont know what happened, where it all went wrong etc. Im exhausted!!
