Yeah power pole. I don't trust it as a long term anchor when I'm not in the boat so I leave it at home.whats the big bracket on the back of your hobie for...a TM? if so why leave that at home
wait...power pole? nice
Ive got a old town pdl that uses a rear rudder...love it, but wish I could do the power pole thing

That's hunt was really cool. I think I got both kill shots on film.

I was having to adjust constantly while in the SD. Sit, stand, lean, rest against tree with my knees, i even leaned against the tree with my side and adjust the tether. In your picture you appeared to be sitting. I was never comfortable in the sit drag sitting. If you have a good platform it's pretty comfortable leaning.
Did everythingYou are a sitter. Sit drags are for leaners

It seemed simple and easy but 30 min in, it was like I was in a ant mound......could not be still.
I actually come down with 45 min left of hunting light.
SD is not for me. Can't enjoy a hunt in a SD.
I actually used two sit drags with my setup. If you can't get comfortable I wouldn't waste my time with it. This year I'm trying to just use the kestrel but I'm still keeping my sit drag. I will probably use it during bow season next year for short hunts at presets. The kestrel is not that hot but I had a hour and half drive to get home last night after hunting and my bottom was still wet when I got home.Did everything

I used one hunting once. That was enough for me.
Yeah I think I just need to wait for a 8-12 mph wind. I typically hunt every chance I can because I'm limited on time so we'll see if I can be patient. That's why I bought ozonics last year and scentlok this year. Here there is no such thing as a steady wind until it gets over 10 miles per hour and even then it shifts at least 45 degrees back and forth.
I hate to hear that. I guess that's why these saddles are so personal. There is no one size fits all. At least you have the Web!Did everything
