Well I shot a buck.... I center punched it, got good blood for 40 yards, but I backed out because it was a liver/gut shot? There's a decent chance of light rain starting at 3am. Should I try to track it at midnight or wait till the morning? Ugh...

No sightings of anything today in the Guidos Web. Somehow, tapatalk would not let me reply on my iPhone in the field live. I had to wait to get home and use tapatalk on my iPad. Weird.

Sat from noon til dark last night with nothing. I gotta hit up some leaves myself today. Maybe if I get them done and all is well around the house I can get out tonight. I don't want to push my luck, I'm off for a week starting next weekend and I plan on putting all day sits in every day before thanksgiving that week.
 
One of those eery mornings here so far. No wind. No sound from anything.
 
Did I mention how I hate gun season. I seriously don't feel an advantage. Missed a big doe yesterday as I rushed the shot. I've had deer within longbow range every day. Supposed to take my daughter this afternoon. It felt really good to sleep in.

Day two of my hunt with my son. Yesterday a coyote and today we watched this buck bed for 3 hours near a couple does. He was hawking them. Heart shot with muzzleloader- went ten feet. His best buck to date by far. Great weekend for us.
