Hawk 20" 4 pack are in at Mack's prairie wings

Probably will depend on each individual stick. They will be somewhere between there. Pretty sure their QC department is still working from home.
 
I have a question for anyone who has these sticks.I know they say 20 inches long but I cant seem to find the distance between steps anywhere.I assume they are 20 inches overall and the steps are 17 inches or so apart...but nothing listed I can find.Could someone please let me know?

Just got my set in from Mack’s Prairie today too. I’m liking them!

Only complaint I have is omg the sticks are almost impossible to detach from the suction cup holders! My normal set of heliums weren’t this bad what so ever. I almost can’t get them apart and forget trying to be quiet while doing it. Almost seems like they thickened up the rubber of the suction cups or something. Is anyone else experiencing this with their new sticks?

Don't quote me but I heard a little vegetable oil (or something similar) will work. I got mine today also but I didn't get a chance to get them out of the box.

If the distance between steps is 17, can we cut down the size of the stick and reposition the tree bracket without messing up stacking?

or could we lengthen the space between steps to get more hight?

Why wouldn't you just buy full sticks and cut them to the size you want?

Oh yeah. Yeah they’re almost impossible to get apart. Yeah I sure hope so. I cut my hands up a bunch trying to work them apart a few times yesterday. I noticed on a couple of the button connectors, the plastic got stressed enough to turn white in a couple spots. That’s ridiculous. I think I’m gonna try rubbing some silicone lubricant in the suction cups and see if it helps.

Anyone have any other QC issues on the sticks? I got a set from Mack’s, one stick had the cups/pegs on backwards from the rest. Also sounds like something rattling around inside the main beam?!
