The failure of the 100gr Jak-hamrs is what pushed me to tune my bow to fixed blade flight. I never knew any better. Switching this year to 125gr Black Hornet Ser-razors with 100 gr in the shaft.What I've shot ever since they came out, 100gr Jackhammers. Have recently seen the reviews of the Black Hornet Ser-Razor and really want to try these. Hip surgery got in the way this year, but next summer I will be playing with the Hornets.
165 grain Simmons Tiger Sharks unless I change my mind before season, which is possible. Waiting on my Stay Sharp system to show up to get them good and sharp. The Rada sharpener gets them pretty sharp though.
I shot my Kansas buck last year with a “tooth of the arrow” broadhead, not a lot of blood trail, but dead in 35 yards, so hard to complain. Arrow went about 15 yards past the deer, good penetration! LolSteelforce Traditional 225gn single bevel for my longbow. Going to try them on my compound also but I already have 125gn Tooth of the Arrow 4 blades for it. We'll see...
