2020 Broadhead choice?

Looking to get away from mechanicals this year been trying a few different fixed blades. So far the wasp drone seems very accurate and forgiving.

I’m new to archery in that this was my first year, I decided after many nights of research and reading to go with 100grain Montec g5s.

killed three deer, two 60 yard tracking jobs, saw one fall within 50 yards. I may be new, but I’m no dummy, I’m sticking with montecs.

Annihilator, 100 grain. 2 kills, distance at 25 yards, deer didn't go past 50 yards.

Anyone else have experience with Annihilators?

In 2021, I'm probably going to A2 single bevels 125 grain 2 blades. I think they are the new incarnation of the annihilator. Lusk Archery did a huge, consistent comparison, and I think they ranked at or near the top and I think penetrated better than any other head. And they aren't super expensive. One reviewer weighed them and weight tolerances aren't great though.

I just looked at a photo of those; those are small, just like the annihilator! pretty cool. I was sckeptical using such a small broadhead, but it put a huge hole in the heart, not a "cut". aka.. Sold.

I've got some annihilators for this season. I just want to learn more about arrows and redo that this offseason. Ill do that after I redo the rest of my gear.

Just ordered a couple packs of VPA 100 grain 3-blade stainless. I enjoy practicing with the same head I'm going to hunt with and being able to take a few stones between 300 - 2000 grit and get my practice heads back shaving sharp always adds a bit of confidence. Putting the heads on Black Eagle Spartans 300 spine, with a 59 grain insert, 3 blazers with a 4 degree helical. They have worked extremely well for me, but it's not just the flight of the head, it's the sharpness of the blades and the aim of the Indian.

I just looked, and I was wrong on the past name (I think). The A2s had another past company/name...and it started with an A....just not Annihilators (which look cool also).

I was always an expandable or 3 blade fixed replaceable blades guy. So, I'll mix it up one year.

Anarchy.

I just saw the Alien V2 video which was also pretty impressive and along these lines, but in a 1.5” cut.

I just pre-ordered Single bevel Iron Will 200's.

I use Ethics Archery 200 insert/ outserts and 4" feathers on a Piledriver 350

Almost always a pass through, almost always reusable, and almost always resharpen-able. I agree.
