yeah I don't think the slim is available yet. I was just checking. TksRegular. I wasn't given an option.
What is the slim going to be, one that isn't as wide?yeah I don't think the slim is available yet. I was just checking. Tks
I don't know but that is my guess. What is the slim going to be, one that isn't as wide?
Thanks guys, I already tried to contact JX3 Outdoors twice with no reply. I even offered to pay extra money to get mine upgraded or to do a swap if possible. Even a NO would have been nice instead of being ghosted.
I'm sure it does happen if you buy enough saddles and are always chasing the latest and greatest but I'm coming from an Original Guido's Web so it will be YEARS before I buy something new.
My advice from past experience would be if you want a slim or any other upgrades I'd just wait. Even if they say there are no plans it could happen in a couple months.
I have a "bungee" thing from an old summit climber that was used to keep the bottom and top of the climber attached in the event the bottom slipped out from under you, you could retrieve it. It's a small, but strong bungee, dark green. I use this on my lone wold hand climber and on my one stick when I use one stick. I girth hitch the bungee to the LWHC / 1 stick, then clip it to my lineman's belt loop or to one of the molle loops somewhere on the saddle.
The good thing about the JX3 is that if you end up losing your LWHC/stick, as I have, the comfort of the fork and the seat allows you to not get all frazzled while trying to retrieve your climbing aid. It just gives me a piece of mind, because I have had the bottom of an old climber fall out from me after completely failing.
This is it plus summit backpack straps at wally world, but you could prob DIY something for less than $20
Hey buddy how’s your trad shooting working out of this?

Thx splatek... yes I shoot trad... just trying a saddle now for grins, but usually use ultra light lockons, or a LW climber. I recently heard a podcast discussing that JX3. I know the guy shoots trad, but he never mentioned it this time. It's not for me, way too much movement, but I'm sure like anything else it has plenty fans.
Best of luck to you this fall. Enjoy the ride...
Thanks guys. Again was just curious.
Kyler I'm in Lafayette...batton down the hatches, here we go again! :-((
