New Re-designed Windwalker Treestand

We had a member on here that bought almost every single Windwalker that hit the classifieds the last couple years, I sold him 2, super nice guy, I have no idea how many he must have bought, it didn’t matter what forum if a Windwalker hit the classifieds I would see his name and it would be sold lol, I always thought the only attraction of these things was to be mobile and only one or two would be enough to own lol, Windwalker fever I guess lol.

I know the feeling I’ve owned liked 6different WW. Some I’ve bought twice. Similar to bows and guns some ar whist wired to love the WW

I’m super curious to see some more pictures of the pack.. I always thought the whole package was what made that stand neat, and obviously the weight.

Well I feel like an idiot. A friend gave me one years ago and I cut it up when I first got into saddle hunting to make a platform. I didn't know what I had or that they were hard to get. Haven't even thought about it till now. It's actually still rachet strapped to a tree lol I'll have to go out and get it.

That 14” width…. Eeeek… I think my size 13 boot is that long.

I had the Spirit loc-on and used it a lot as a saddle platform for years . It hung in my garage for years and I can't remember what happened to it but it's gone.

on the windwalker, what's the distance between where the shoulder straps go and the end of the stand?

i have a limit, and it is just long enough to attach a waist belt and shoulder straps that don't dig the shoulders

Oh man, this may cost me some money. I have wanted one of these Loc On stands ever since I watched Warren Womack talk about his Loc On Limit stand on his youtube channel. Luckily for me so far, I haven't stumbled across one, lol.

If Treehopper starts offering the smallest version of the Loc On, I am assuming it is the Limit, I may just have to have one.

Windwalker Ultra lite is the smallest and lightest

I'm pushing the limit on weight on these things especially with gear. I have an old one in the garage I've never even hunted out of but may use at my pre-set bolt locations with the saddle for the longer sits.
Anyone at, close or over the weight limit and have no issues? I'm assuming the weight limit is one of those where actual failure occurs at a much greater weight but just wanted to run it by you guys that have used them in the past.
If the creaking and popping comes with the heavier guys that would be a no go for me too.

can someone explain the differences in construction and size between the limit and the windwalker?

i was under the impression that the windwalker was smaller and lighter always (not just the ultralight version), but the posting above lumps them together like they are the same.

thanks
