Tethrd Skeletor Sticks

When I opened the box this morning there were six even though the packing slip says 8, so I guess "Anna" who stamped her name to the packing slip has issues counting too....lol! I've decided the the stick that doesn't get the upgraded standoff's will always be my base/first stick at ground level and will have some sort of obvious marking on it to remind me....... They also send new bolts for the dynaloc button but it appears the longer ones had already made it to my sticks, just not the new standoffs.....

I'd call/email them and tell them they owe me 2 stand offs.

From what I know the bottom standoffs were the only ones that were twisting so you are 2 up on them. I just replaced my bottom standoffs the top ones have been fine.

See @enkriss repost....it may be less common but it does happen, which is why they were supposed to send 8!
 
Has anyone moved the steps closer together on these? I know someone asked about it earlier in this thread but has anyone actually done it.

I see mine are bending too. Can you post pics of new vs old? I’ll be interested how the new hold up. I really like these sticks and don’t want issues.

Thanks! Looks like a beefed up version of the same design.

I used mine on a 5 day hunt where we moved around a lot and noticed them starting to bend. I saw this thread and sent them an email to which they responded quickly. Replacements are being shipped.

I don’t climb with my gear to avoid extra weight. I see you filed your teeth and I found that helped, but they still ended up bending. Looking forward to the new ones for my next trip in a few weeks.

Did you have to prove that your standoffs had an issue? Or did you just request new ones?

I just told them I had the original design and they sent me the updated version. I sent the email to the address for the one stick recalls....
 
I just sent an email stating that I’m about 240 and I’m worried about safety… they replied back quickly saying essentially no problem, that we’ll get all new stand offs shipped right out. They sent all 8 within a week.
