Not sure who was more amped up more. My favorite was how she tried to keep a very calm face...then you could see her start to crack, then she'd reel it back in...she's been a bowhunter since we got her first bow when she was 2.5yo. Refused to go hunting with a gun, refused to use her papa's crossbow. Seeing her friends success on deer and turkey, trying to push her jealousy button to get her in the woods with a weapon sooner....all she said was, "I'll be the first to do it with a bow." She understood, that meant putting off hunting until her mother and I felt she had adequate energy to get the job done. She's accompanied me since she could walk, into the woods...she's seen me kill a few deer with my longbow, she's gone with me to check cams, scout river bottoms, etc. I take her hunting whenever she's free after school, and every weekend. She's addicted now.
