Here's a couple little "tips" for PacSeat users:
#1-Someday, you'll find a spot that you think is PERFECT. But, there will be no tree behind you to lean the chair on, & the ground will be uneven.
I carry a small stout gardening hand shovel in my pack, & dig the "uphill" area out where the rear support will sit to make it level. It takes a little bit of time, but not much. I then find a rock or stiff piece of wood to put under the front leg of the chair that's "suspended" in the air because of the terrain. It's usually a rock, because here in PA, we have lots of 'em, so I usually grab one I see when walking in...just in case

#2- Someday, the deer that you REALLY want will come to you on your weak side...believe me, it's gonna happen!
Whatever kind of bow you shoot, practicing on the chair by shifting yourself around & shooting from your weak side is time that is VERY WELL spent! It's WAY easier, at least for me, to shoot from the weak side when I'm in my saddle...but to me, it's a whole different animal (especially with a Trad Bow, and a ghillie suit,) from the PacSeat! I spend more practice time doing that than I do shooting from the strong side!
