For trad, how high is too high for good shooting angle?

I like lower heights with my longbow - 12ft with some leafy cover is great!

    LWCG Sidekick and Trad Bows?

I use my boot, gaiters top or a cargo pocket depending on how I am siting or standing. I have used something like this, even the compound models work ok. DIY etc... And this looks fun! Found on Etsy:

    Minimalist Flexible Boot Thread

The Topos aren't minimal. While I am running the Vivo I can see the value in a a zero drop boot with a little insole, especially when standing/climbing on sticks.

Still the best break up camo pattern to date.

I was about 12 feet up yesterday and had a buck check me out hard. I was mostly skylined - probably canopy behind me. ASAT jacket, ASAT balaclava with leafy hood. He didn't figure me out at all.

    Short billed baseball cap

Soft brim boonies and bucket hats just bend a little when the bowstring pushes against.

    The Official Ground Hunting Thread

Here's another - some of these look like they'd also be nice to slip on when you're on a cold metal treestand and get some mid season boots warmer! https://rossoutdoors.com/store/StalkZone-Sneekerz-2-0-Over-the-Boot-Sneaking-Shoes-p486400338

    The Official Ground Hunting Thread

Could there be large large enough socks out there to slip over one's boots? Here are the stalking products I know about - not used any of these. https://sneektec.com/products/sneek-boot-pro-2 https://sneektec.com/products/stalkissons?variant=14541128630316...

    Steel Force Hellfire

Steelforce single bevel were the first head I ever mounted but never shot one. I also had some 4 blades. I had similar issue - I could easily take apart the single bevel with the tool, but had no need to do so! However the 4 blade was impossible to take apart to sharpen. They did not come sharp...

    Slow-mo Arrow Tuning

Yes, 100%, the slow motion video is a great tool!

    Arrow Setup

Longer arrows for easier to manage gaps these days. 500 grains is the lowest weight I feel comfortable with.

Who makes quality camo outer wear

@Maverick1 nailed it. I have an old Day One windblock lined parka and it's great - quiet, windproof, good pockets, sleeve cinches. Makes me wish I bought more from them when they were at the top of their game.

    Aluminum arrows

Big fan of 2219s. Very tough. High GPP. Took my first deer with one.

Arm guard and hunting in cold weather gear

Practice how you plan to hunt for sure. I have had success in full winter gear and a leafy suit. For hands, its bow hand gets glove/mitten as appropriate with a hand warmer and draw hand is bare on the tab but lives in the pocket with hand warmer(s). I think a heated vest would be a low bulk...
