    LWCG stand setups

Interested in a .75. Waiting on the budget version to come out first though. Want to see the price and features on that before I drop $600+

Had to install the standoffs on mine and toss on the ropes.

    Thinking about ordering new Skeletors…

Mine arrived today, hoping for the best lol. Top and bottom standoffs are beveled on mine, good thread engagement on all fasteners. So looks like the issues were fixed. As long and the steps don't start snapping off I think i will be good.

Anyone hunting areas with high black bear population?

Have seen than many time hunting and kayaking. Only had one experience with a mama and cubs that made me uncomfortable but was probably a decade ago now. Not too concerned I keep an eye out for them.

    New bow strings

Using archeryshack currently, bcy Mercury. Good prices and string holds solid. Hogwire was my last set, also very good but more expensive, used fury material on that set. Lots of good string makers out there.

    Let’s Talk About Smokers

I use a akorn. Works great for my needs and makes good food. Added a WiFi temp controller so I don't have to adjust vents at night and can change the temp from my bed if need be.

    Well it finally happened

Couldn't you just use your platform and do a one stick method decent? Take awhile but you would get there.

    What rifle is everyone using?

    New from NY

Had time to play with it more and shoot from it. Probably wont see much use honestly. Find it much harder to shoot at all angles compared to the hang on setup and shooting from it feels odd. Comfortable but dont feel confident ill make a good shot from it when i have a nice buck...

Damn dude, hope you get a big one after this bs.

    New from NY

packs nicely, will be really easy to climb as well. My only worry is shooting to the right hand side. In my main spot 90% of the time they will follow the same trail but every so often they will veer off course and if i setup with this the shot will be to my right. Willl have to...

    New from NY

Ready to go. Received my platform today and took a few practice shots. Not sure if ill use this full time but if im going in blind and scouting this setup weighs alot less then my hang on and can go in any tree as well. going to take it out this weekend and see how i like it after a...

Hope to this weekend, if my platform arrives this week. If not I'll probably just use it with my mobile hangon setup anyways :)

    Rope mod length

Versa button mod? On my xop I do 8.5 bottom sticks and 7.5 top sticks.

    Broadheads: What are you using?

Anarchy 1.5" and grim reaper 1 3/8 Flip a coin for the one I'll use that day. If it's windy I'll use the reaper for sure though.

    So, why?

My viper classic hits everything lol. I'm only 5'8" so if I need to take a big step over a log I'm bound to hit it. Don't really have this issue with my xop vanish and stick setup but it weighs a truck load, probably 45 with my pack. Probably wont use the saddle for gun but seems good for bow.

    So, why?

Figured why not? Seems like a good way to drop weight off the back and looked interesting. Have only played in the yard so far. Waiting for my platform to arrive and have to see how it is shooting my bow from it.

    Platform Height

If I'm around 20' that usually fine for my spots. Think most of the deer I have shot have been above me or eye level anyways. Can't cut lanes on public so I usually just get as high as I can and still be able to take shots where I think they are coming in.
