Carrying in Hawk Heliums option: Yoga Mat straps?

I've tried this and any know or configuration I tried would slip off or up-and-down the sticks. COuld you post pic of how you do it?

Carrying in Hawk Heliums option: Yoga Mat straps?

Every set up I've tried with packs always ends up either not secure or too much for the brushy areas I occasionally hunt. Wondered if there was a way to refit/re-purpose a strap like they make for carrying rolled up Yoga mats. Has anyone ever tried carrying in your sticks this way?

Getting spray paint smell off sticks?

Did a camo paint job on my Heliums and the smell of spray paint can be wiffed from 15yds away. Anyone have any tricks or hacks to expedite the scent control other than leaving them outdoors for 2 to 14 weeks?

Saddle safety redundancy systems (what do you do?)

Couldn't find a pic or video of this knot in this application. I like the idea. Can you share some kind of pic or video that would be helpful? Thanks! This Alpine Butterfly? but then how do you run it through your lineman's loop?

Saddle safety redundancy systems (what do you do?)

I've thought about adding another bridge to my lineman's loops. Since I use a HSS tether as a lineman's rope, it would be easy to just turn that into a secondary tether and attach it to the secondary bridge on my lineman's loops. Anyone do this? How do you attach another bridge and where do...

Isn't the prusik and biner on the HSS tree tether good enough?

Saddle safety redundancy systems (what do you do?)

Who is DanO and how do I contact him? How did you attach it to your bridge loops (knot or splice?)

Saddle safety redundancy systems (what do you do?)

I thought about adding another bridge to the same bridge loops on my Mantis but wasn't sure how to attach it. Do you know another supplier for the OpLux or other 8mm rope? Would this make a good back up bridge? https://www.treestuff.com/samson-amsteel-micro-rigging-line/

Saddle safety redundancy systems (what do you do?)

I've thought about doing this since my lineman's rope is basically just another HSS Tether and even has a prussic and carabiner on it already. Do you just place them right next to each other on the tree?

Saddle safety redundancy systems (what do you do?)

I'm doing some research and I think others may want to learn from it as well. I've seen many folks have a redundancy safety system (second prussic knot, double bridge, etc) Just curious what different folks do to have a back up in case of one-point of failure? If you don't do anything extra...

Stopping "sag" from haulers on Mantis?

I carry a SYS Hauler on one side with my tether and another Hauler on the other side with my step of rings and strap on hooks. My Mantis sags from all the weight and even when tightened. Any suggestions?

First fall in many years of hunting...

I'd been thinking of adding a secondary prussic and carbiner to my tether on the slack but it would be just another prussic/carbinter attached to my bridge. Is it possible to buy a pre-made fixed loop prussic that I can trust rather than try to tie my own?

First fall in many years of hunting...

I second that question. How did the Prussic come undone? Do you mean it literally unraveled from around the tether? That is scary...

WTB: new platform. Predator, Wild Edge Step, talk to me...

Still looking for just a platform guys. Bullman steps, Predator, etc. I got my whole rig but my platform is out of commission for a bit.

Bullman Silent Approach platform (releasing strap issue)?

I'm thinking of climbing back up there (again!) and just cutting the strap and saving the ratchet and steps. Wonder what best tool/way would be to cut that thick strap...hmmmm.

I need a new platform. Long story but short version is I'm willing to try any platform someone is will to part with (maybe you changed or upgraded).
