    Mantis with Recliner ...

I've put quite a bit of weight on it and no issues. When I take my super break, I'm sitting with my thighs/nuts against the tree leaned back in the recliner. It literally looks like I'm in a La-z-boy, not good for taking shots, but super comfy for a break. It feels cheap, but it has held up to...

    Best knee pads?

I use a $20 set from Walmart, plastic or rubber non slip cap with some padding is the way to go. Soft knee pads (volleyball style) work but your knees will pay. Avoid Velcro straps.

    What’s on under the saddle?

I found that putting my tether between chin and collarbone height relived a lot of comfort and pinching issues. I still have some hip pinch on my right hip, but my body seems to be adapting to it. My saddle seems to want to sit high on my butt/hip, I want it lower but it is most comfortable on...

    Bullman steps

OCBs make that much of a difference? I'm impressed. I'm keeping the 2 steps but going to use them to get me an extra few feet from the ground. I'm getting a set of cranford steps, guy at work bought a bulk pack of them and I'll get some cheap. Problem solved.

    Bullman steps

I gotcha, I think I’ll use the bull man steps as an extra first step to get me a few feet higher (like an aided) before putting my sticks up. I keep my top stick to the left of my platform, that helps to swing around the tree. Maybe one screw in step to the right as a footrest while I’m...

    Bullman steps

Looking at them, I’d probably still be in the same boat in regards to side pressure, correct?

    Bullman steps

It appears I bought the wrong steps, I have not seen these ocb things, I’ll have to check them. I’m trying to avoid screw in steps, not due to restrictions, just don’t want to fight screw in steps. First season in the saddle, still working out the kinks.

    Bullman steps

What am I missing with these steps, I bought the two pack to use as footrests/step around the tree. I've tightened the piss out of the straps and even used an old tree strap from a safety harness, no matter what, they roll over if I step on the sides. I do not see anyway the strap will keep...

    Bullman shipping

I ordered the 2 steps and never received a shipping update, until I saw it in my spam folder yesterday; I received mine fairly quick. The email was from stamps.c.om (not trying to link a site), so check for something from them.

    Tethrd SYS Haulers

I got all my stuff pretty quick, kind of bummed to see a big "CHINA" tag on them, but I can understand the need to outsource. Now someone tell Tethrd to quit making new stuff, I think I have about $600+ in Tethrd equipment already.

    Tethrd SYS Haulers

I just ordered two SYS haulers and a recliner, the website NEWS claims (8/30/19): "EVERY SINGLE back-ordered SYS Hauler will be shipped by next week." & "We couldn’t source enough local sew shops to do it all. So instead we made the hard decision to have our US sew shops focus on the Mantis...

    Knee pads

I will be using the volleyball style ones I got to redo my house floors with. Light and stretchy.

    MANTIS...... WHATS UP TETHRDNATION

Received mine yesterday, spent about 2 hours playing with it and even stood in a tree for few min. doing all the cool guy poses. I have a lot to adjust/get used to before going live with it. Very cool though, can't wait to figure it all out.

    MANTIS...... WHATS UP TETHRDNATION

I got an email saying my order is complete, now the impatient wait for the package to show up on my doorstep. I'm super excited about this, can't wait to what opportunities this opens up.

    Keto - If you're a saddle hunter, I think you'll dig it.

If anyone is like me and can never seem to stay on top of a grocery list, I use GreenChef Keto; 3 meals/week. A weekly food service has cut down on my waste and keeps my "diet" on track. I don't want to spam this thread, but if you want 4 free meals I can give you a code, plus I'll get $25 off...

    Odd sounds in the woods

I watched that creepy movie Mama the night before a hunt, heard the same creepy sound she made in the dark early in the morning. Turns out, raccoons make some creepy sounds too. I have also heard a samsquacth, but I'm sure it had nothing to do with the sasquatch marathon I had been watching.

    New in Middle Tennessee

Thank you for the welcome, honestly where I hunt in Illinois is closer than those counties; although it does cost me right around $500/year to hunt out of state, it is worth it to me. I have two spots in Robertson county I've been hunting for 6 years now and finally killed a good buck there...
