    Silent Approach climbing system

    I don't have a problem, it's not going to be rock solid like a rachet but if you keep the buckle close to the step and set the step before climbing there's no more bounce or give than a climbing stick. Keep your weight over the step and I towards the tree and you're golden.

    So I'm using the Hunters Safety System tree strap thing for a tether. It works and I like it but it wants to drop down the tree if it doesn't have weight on it. When I set it to the height I want if I don't immediately put weight on it it's hard to keep in position, anyway around this? Like...

    Got mine last week sometime. I think they're going to be the ticket with some practice. I managed to get to hunting height with them one day last week. There definitely is learning curve but I feel like I was prepared from watching videos. What's everyone's take on them?
